Biography
Formed in 2017, ThrillHammer emerged from tragedy and transformation. The project was born out of the untimely death of Anthony “Bubbles” Torres, a beloved and flamboyant figure in the San Francisco arts community — known for their beehive wig, bright pink lipstick, and slinky dresses. As Bubbles was preparing to relocate to Berlin to continue their creative journey, they began collaborating on what would become Bohemian Berlin Disco. Before the track could be completed, Bubbles was tragically murdered on the streets of San Francisco. In the wake of that loss, Colotrious approached Duserock to finish the song and bring the vision to life. What began as a tribute evolved into a living project — the formation of ThrillHammer. Despite the grief, the energy flowed, the creativity ignited, and the music took on a life of its own. Today, ThrillHammer continues to carry forward that spirit of artistic resilience and connection through sound. Merging Duserock’s seasoned production and DJ experience with Colotrious’ dynamic vocals and improvisational flair, ThrillHammer bridges genres — weaving elements of Rock, House, Disco, and Balearic Electronica into immersive, cinematic soundscapes.
